My left hand had gotten crushed, jamming my little finger as well as my ring finger back further than they could possibly go. How my hand got crushed and my fingers jammed are not important at this time, the fact and truth is, that they were. I went to the emergency room at the hospital, and as I was waiting to see the doctor, I couldn't help but think if I would ever use my hand again. I was playing Praise and Worship in Church at the time, so the use of my hand was very important to me; after all, it's impossible to play a guitar with only one hand let alone a 12-string guitar. After several X-rays, the doctor confirmed what I was thinking! She said that I would never be able to use this hand again!! She then went on to try and set my 2 fingers that were jammed back. She pulled and pulled, but yet could not get them back to their original position. The pain was more than I can even describe, despite the 4 shots of Demerol they had given me before starting. Needless to say, the thought of not being able to play my guitar bothered me more than the pain of my crushed hand!!! After the doctors were done with me, I went straight to my pastor's house and told him all that had gone on. I was all kinds of bent out of shape!!! Didn't know how I was going to play my guitar anymore. My pastor looked at me, not seeming to care one bit what had just happened to me then said: "WHO ARE YOU GONING TO BELIEVE? THOSE DOCTORS, OR WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS?" Needless to say, I choose to believe Gods Holy Word!!!

     This was on a Saturday that my hand had gotten crushed. After I was done talking to my pastor, I went home, and the only thing I could think about was how I was going to play my guitar the next day at church. My hand was in a cast all the way up to my elbow, with only my first 2 fingers sticking out. Didn't know how I was supposed to play a guitar this way!! Sunday morning came and I went to church as normal. I got up to lead Praise and Worship hand hurting like crazy and all. I did play using the 2 fingers that were sticking out of the end of the cast, was very hard but through the Power of the Holy Spirit, I was able to do it! My pastor also had different outreach meetings that he had through the week, all of which I lead the Praise and Worship for.

     To make a long story short, by the time Wednesday had come around, my hand was hurting more than I could bear!! The doctor had increased the pain medication, but that didn't help a bit!! The medicine sometimes, would knock me out for all of 5 minutes or so, then I would be back awake and feeling the pain. That Wednesday night, after I had gotten home from the outreach meeting, I lay on the coach holding my hand cause it was hurting so bad. I took some more pain pills, but they didn't do a thing!!! Then the Lord started to remind me of the Power we have over the enemy, and the Authority to use that power. Needless to say, I started in on the enemy!!! Telling him to get off my hand, and that I would play this guitar again and that there was nothing he could do to prevent it!! Because my Fathers Word declares, "NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER" After I finished kicking the devils butt, I fell right asleep!

     Evidently, I had gotten up through the night to use the bathroom. As I was walking back to my bedroom, I reached up to scratch my head. When I scratched my head I noticed that I was using my left hand!! This was the hand that had been crushed!!! The first thing I noticed was that my hand wasn't hurting any more, the second thing I noticed was that the CAST WAS GONE! I looked everywhere, thinking that I had gotten mad during my sleep and ripped it off or something!! After looking till sun up, I finally gave up, I couldn't find it anywhere! About 6 months later, I was moving into a new house. When it came time to move the bedroom furniture, it took a while because I had to tear down my waterbed. When I got the waterbed apart I found that cast!! It was lying underneath the waterbed frame!!

     There is absolutely NO WAY I could have possibly lifted up this waterbed and put this cast under it!!! After all, my hand was crushed!! Plus, I didn't weigh 130 pounds soaking wet at that time!! Had the Lord healed my hand? Well, yes and no!! Yes He healed it on Calvary's Cross, but it was by me being obedient to His Word that brought it all about in this circumstance!! I refused to let the enemy have his way in my life!! I stood up in faith, and knocked the enemy off of the situation!! The Cross of Jesus defeated him, and I sure let him know it!! I wasn't going to accept this weapon that had been formed against me!!! As a result of daring to stand on Gods Holy Word, I still play my guitar to this day for His Glory!! Daily He is giving me new music and new songs!! All to uplift His Glorious Name!!! Again, this is why I say that it is not so much of a miracle, "I HAD TO STAND ON GODS HOLY WORD, RECEIVING WHAT WAS ALREADY DONE BY THE PRICE THAT JESUS HAD PAID"!

     In other words, the healing was already DONE, I just had to stand in faith and receive this healing and stand in faith concerning the power and the authority to use that power, putting the enemy in his place!!!

     Trust in, rely on, adhere to what He has already paid for and receive what ever may be your need at this time!!! Again, He has paid the whole price, Spirit, Soul and Body, receive His Gracious Gift and walk in that ABUNDANT LIFE that He said He came to give us.
